Nope. She is probally going to announce a new EP or Album soon so UMJ is sending out some ads. Standard practice for a signed artist. Despite what /here/ says, UMJ has said in interviews that her EPs and Albums are selling much better than they thought so they are investing more money into her.

Ctrl-F "Mori Calliope", it's the first result on the page. It's from earlier in the year before her latest EP, but it is safe to say it sold even better than what they were talking about since it actually charted in the international billboard top 10(this one doesn't include the US because huge american artists mog basically everyone outside the US) and her album that released a couple months before the interview didn't chart that high.

vtubers are a certain niche, and comparing them directly against other streamers is incorrect
also, i don't really want vtubers to get even more popular than they already are. in fact, i'd rather they get less popular. the less normalfags you have infesting your hobby, the better it is

Yes? she does very well, better than anyone not named Suisei, but NO vtuber is normalfag friendly, atleast in the west. Even the ones that hang with the big flesh streamers always get shitty comments made about them in their chats when they show up in their streams. I honestly don't know any vtuber I'd recommend to someone who wasn't already waist deep into anime allready.
