What he is against is boilerplate fanservice tropes that have been overused to death because writers don't know any other way to portray women. "Oh no, the MC opened the bathroom door without knocking. Who could have seen that coming."
It's boring. It's not even a moral position. Writing like this just makes the story and character boring.
And GTA is an awful example since that's emergent gameplay. The player creates the story, so they can navigate that however they want. That's not writing anymore. If it's the content of a story mission, that would be applicable.
Also, Ruze isn't my oshi at all. I got gifted the membership and wanted to watch LoTR. I just get mad at how irrational catalog is being over such a small comment about his own personal preferences.
