Omega tried a complex storyline they never followed up on which was written and Zero Wing machine translated to be utterly incomprehensible. So IF they had planned for the council to be part of some bigger storyline you wouldnt have known because the word salad bullshit behind them made no sense whatsoever. After that Susan started to fuck Vtubers over for getting in the way of them spamming politics and propaganda shows in your reccomended lists and Gen2 got massive culls that kept it limited to this day

I wonder when management changed their tune about having EN doing idol stuff. I remember Subaru doing a stream about what was the difference between the hiring for each branch shortly after Myth debuted, and the focus for EN were variety content creators.

Sana’s art career got in the way of streaming and her bad back would have gotten in the way of doing 3D stuff with her genmates. She had her priorities, and Hololive just wasn’t high enough on the list. Other than that and Omega’s lore that went nowhere, the fundamentals were solid, and merging with Project Hope has shown that.

Every now and then, Cover seems to choose talent for reasons other than music skills. I assume Fauna was hired under circumstances similar to Noel, in that neither of them can sing, but they have a notable history in ASMR. Probably same case with Amelia and Kaela, but more for being "games".

They were not managed correctly. Reforming the unit as Promise has a lot of good feels behind it and the members are doing fine individually. Kronii would probably be doing a little better if she softened up towards the chat a bit. It feels like there is some tension there that could be resolved.
