But they also just have a different business model than Phase, VShojo hoovers up all the big indies that fit their culture, while Phase debuts the best of the small corpos/2views. It's not a competition, especially since Phase is in Youtube market and VShojo is on Twitch. Strangely enough though the fanbases seem to absolutely despise each other.
