I said it in other thread, but when two coworkers have only one thing that separates them (in this case personality) but do and have the same job, then if one is more succesful than the other, it usually only brings confussion and doubts for the one who is lagging behind.
They would not have the excuse of the character debuff or "they work at another company with more expossure", so feelling like your personality is the one thing that is making you less "atractive" can be a real big blow for anyone.
So, having a complete 180 personality and having wild different taste from eachother may soften that blow for them like, "well she is catering to a demographic that I don't so its not like she is stealing my subs".
If they start getting fanbases that are too similars then things like comparissons, calling Elira the "original" dragon, or this girls "Elira 2.0" are bound to happen.
