>>65289929She's made 2.5M in superchats according to playboard. That's an undercount because playboard misses a bunch of superchat categories, like mengens. And if you've ever seen a Marine mengen you know that's what everyone seems to wait for to drop the big bucks. I reckon you could double that to about 5M.
She also has about 7k members, so lets assume she's gotten about 1.5M lifetime from memberships as well, by multiplying it out.
If we assume she only gets about 30% of that after cover and YT take their cut, she's still made ~2M from direct YouTube sources.
Marine's sponsored stuff rates would be pretty absurd because she has the best numbers in the business, and she does quite a lot of them. This is going to be a very gross undercount but lets say she's made 1M lifetime from them. Realistically she's made much more though.
She probably doesn't make much on ads because her entire channel is flagged as potentially inappropriate. Marine has the yellow dollar sign on everything across her whole channel. Still, even with that she's had 900M views so she would still get a decent amount. There were midstream ads during that Sister Marine stream yesterday for example. But we'll just ignore this category.
Marine's merch always does really well. Each birthday/anniversary/etc. merch set sells out instantly of the limited stuff and the other stuff has performed extremely well when we've been able to measure it. Each one is *at least* $500k, so even if we only take the last 3 years she's made about 3M from that. Halve that for various cuts and production costs and you have 1.5M.
As for outgoings, she spent $100k+ on unison, $400k+ on Shukkou, and a few others reached that $100k too. Lets just say she's spent at least 1M on music and music videos so far. That sounds like a lot but it functionally comes out of her pre-tax earnings since they're deductible, regardless of how specifically the accounting is handled (Marine usually mentions saying she gets cover to pay for stuff and reduce her income by the same amount, but the effect would be the same if she got the full payout from cover, paid for the MVs, then deducted them)
So we're down to 3.5M before tax. Lets assume she pays about 40% of that in income taxes. She would still have made 2.1M after tax.
So then it's just a matter of her living expenses. It doesn't really sound like she lives super extravagantly. She takes taxis everywhere and eats McDonalds. Hard to say.
In any case, I think I've lowballed a lot of her income sources and she still ends up having made multiple millions even so. I think it's reasonable to think of marine as a multi-millionaire. She's in that range anyway.
