It shows how up herself she really is. The fame got to her. Most people who watch vtubers are well aware it's an escapism hobby and don't literally consider their oshi as actual friends, girlfriends and wives, it's just funposting. Yeah maybe vtubers are filling the void for a lot of fans, but they're still aware that it's no replacement for the real thing. We KNOW that. It's just about good enough for a lot of us and saves a lot of hassle of finding/maintaining real friendships and partners for a lot of us are in shitty situations where both are very difficult even if we wanted to persue it. We care a lot for oshis, like a friend or partner, but we're always aware of the one-sided nature of it. It only gets fuzzy with 2views because they're way more groomable.
Fauna simply acted like a stuck-up bitch to her fans by lecturing them shit they already knew. They were watching her to forget about that reality (temporarily) but she just HAD to bring it up mid-stream and bite the fucking bait. It's worse because it was Fauna that did it. No JP has ever said something like that with the same serious tone.
