The talent provides the "art" side of the project (and arguably the funding, since that seems to be common), and management deals with the "business" side. Hell, Niji management is typically behind researching for streaming permissions (Selen's said in the past that her manager was thankful that she was the one to find the perms for a game), so I don't see why this should be any different.
