Literally this. Communication is THE biggest reason. Mumei was completely upset that she was going to have to take a break and tried for months to stream through her sickness. She might not have been able to stream as much, but she still tried. Also, there's Ame, who is going on break too and she straight up said "Cancel your subs so you're not wasting your money while I'm gone."

Gura on the other hand "Oh I swear it won't happen again like the other 20 times I've done this! This time will be different! Oh, by the way here's some merch you want to buy right!?"

From what I've seen, Gura definitely seems like a perfectionist, and I know what a 'perfectionist' burnout looks like. I can see why if she feels like she's not gonna make something perfect in her standards (in this case, make perfect streams) then she'd rather not make anything at all. If this is her mindset, and I'm willing to believe it is, then she needs to snap out of it.
