>lol, just debut a GuraThe only reason it worked for Roberu is because he leveraged his pre-vtuber network (from the NicoNico old guard turned vtubers) and that allowed him to move through circles that would be closed to other people.
Through the “Tamaki box” he established himself as a peer of Belmond, Maimoto and other vtubers batting at a much higher level than what being an Holostar would allow him and that ONLY worked because he had pre existing contacts (and seniority) within that group.
The circumstances that allowed Roberu to succeed can’t be replicated because NicoNico is long dead, everybody that made the jump is already five years into their new life on YouTube and they are already part of their respective structures and groups.
Maybe you’re sugggesting that there is a similar scene that started together on twitch and that had NotBettel as their peer, and that has any presence on YouTube for him to leverage but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Twitch is very much alive, most successful North American streamers are still there and Bettel is in a company of YouTube vtubers.
Maybe he can succeed somehow but definitely not through the same path as Roberu did, it was a very particular situation that allowed him to do so.
