There's nothing in the world that will make me waste my limited time on Earth learning a language that is incredibly different from my own to watch different vtubers from the ones I watch right now. Why would I waste years of my life, thousand of hours that could be spent watching streamers I already understand, or simply engaging in other hobbies? If I was a teenager and my brain was still plastic enough to absorb foreign languages I might consider it but it's entirely fruitless to expend enormous effort to reach kindergarten-level Japanese in my 30s.
