>>65943094I dunno, quite a few girls whom it was eventually were found to be here (or had an accidental dead giveaway or someone else broke containment and outed them) you probably would not have guessed.
Some of them do pander to here like all hell but it's a minority relatively speaking and they are just very very hungry for feedback and honest thoughts as well as finding out what people think about the kinds of questions they literally cannot ask out loud like "how do people like me vs my genmates.. is my gen good compared to the others... is my corpo good... do people think me/my gen/corpo are doing good or not" etc. These are (mostly) functioning adults, there is no way in hell they don't wonder about that. Some would feel they are better off not knowing and leaving everything to fate but some would definitely want every bit of strategic knowledge they can grasp at.
Far as I can tell it's the small corpo girls that feel like the highest proportion being here, because these are people with ambitions but not yet enough success to just discount whatever people think like big-name Holos sometimes do so see strategic value to here being one of the only places their name is coming up in the same space that Holo/niji/vshojo fans actively use and mingle on. Successful indies don't tend to care about how they are judged here, because if they're successful-enough then clearly whatever negativity is here didn't impede them from getting as far as they did. Small indies/2views might cling to here for exposure, studying what's working/liked and trying to map out what to avoid or go for to incline. Big corpos it seems like none of them are here until suddenly containment massively breaks and suddenly it feels like damn near most of nijiEN is here (thanks to millie, reimu etc) and we're pretty damn sure at least several holoENs and holoIDs are here too.
