The big thing is that money can stay surprisingly flat between like 500-5k as just normal professional income (with very easy hours).
Once you start getting around that 5k ccv range you start getting fuck you money and can get thousands for single sponsored streams too.

Sponsorships make in upwards of 60% of their total income, before we even account for direct donations. It's baffling this day and age people don't know streamers at 1k make around 1.4k-2k per hour for a sponsored stream.
