I will never understand how Fauna has fans. I do not understand how someone so boring can have people come back and watch their stream. I doubly do not understand how people can tolerate all her bullshit. She hasn't had a schedule in months, she doesn't actually stream anything good. They aren't even games that at least take skill so people can maybe watch her achieve something, no, instead she plays dogshit indie games for 2 hours at a time then fucks off. She doesn't even do ASMR, which is what they fucking hired her for, even though she was dogshit at that as well.
And then she spends most of her time not streaming completely fucked off and unwilling to interact with her audience, at the very least, on Twitter. The moment she takes a break she may as well be ghosting people who, stupidly, mind you, care for her. You have people in Advent, or even people like Kiara, constantly engaging whether on Twitter or even their youtube channel page, but what does Fauna do? Quite literally nothing. Most days she doesn't even check her fucking art tag. Even when she stops streaming for weeks on end, which has become a more common practice for her since she's gotten lazier and lazier, she just stops communicating with her fans because she doesn't care. She just goes full ghost mode as if she doesn't have people waiting on her.
Fauna literally could've been anyone else and they would've done a better job at being a Holo. Everything about her is complete and total selfishness and it's good that there are new girls now to make people realize how absolutely scummy she is. All the other girls never ask for anything from their fans, and actually tell them they love them instead of being shameless and constantly doing these larp asmrs where she pretends to care. That Valentine's shit was shameless considering she refuses to acknowledge her fans' feelings and never actually tells them she loves them. Not to mention that maid ASMR after the whole "not your friend" bullshit where she tried to damage control. Meanwhile you have all the girls actually connecting with their fanbases and not minding any label tossed their way as long as it makes their audience happy.
Advent pretty much proves how much of a horrible hire Fauna is. Everything she SHOULD be she isn't; communicative, caring, and far more talented than she can ever be. Biboo is the gamer she touts she is, when she's dogshit at videogames. Shiori is actually great at Zatsu and has far more interesting topics than she could ever drudge up. Nerissa is a godlike studio singer who cares a LOT about her fanbase and interacts with them as often as possible, and the twins are just flat out more entertaining than she is.
But you didn't even need Advent before this, even within Promise there are just better options. Mumei has a great singing voice and she has no qualms actually leveling with her fans and communicating when gone. IRyS is the same as well. Bae tries her best to give the fans what they want, she streams a lot and really just works hard in general. Her zatsu game is also on point. So why Fauna? She's the most cagey HoloEN. Rarely tweets, rarely talks about her family because she "wants to respect their privacy", frequently dodges questions, has no qualms in ghosting her fans for weeks and not apologize for it, tell her viewers to fuck off if they don't care about another Holo; she's got a bad attitude. Why do people donate and show up for streams that not even she cares for?
