Imagine for a sec that someone asks to "poach" your mom, your dad, brother/sister or your dog, away from you just because they believed that you don't "deserve" them, that you're an abusive or a bad family member who doesn't deserve someone good in their life. Wouldn't that feel unfair? You can't buy family. Family isn't a transactional object.
