That definitely has been dropped, the dogs playing an anime character is not the same as sticking to the fanfiction-tier garbage that only EN receives. JP's don't get any of that shit. The closest is HoloX but the only thing their lore requires is their roles in a fictional organization and they all stand by that without issue even if the way they act as individual channels is completely different.
