A lot of them are ugly, bitter, hateful, or outright disgusting, but they are by and large the thoughts people have and are simply afraid to post elsewhere on non-anonymous sites. Sometimes this isn't true during raids or summer or the seethe/wojak/copocalypse or any time of unusually high shitposting, but most posts most of the time are the honest thoughts of the anon who wrote them.
