Other vtubers have the chance to invest most of the time streaming since their "main" activities overlap with those of hololive (gaming, socializing, hobbies). I watched ayame and it seems that she's not much of a "gamer" herself (doesn't like many genres), that's why she plays LoL offstream. She also doesn't socialize much with the other hololive girls, so she spends more time with people she feels confortable with.
Cover also gives lot of freedom in terms of streaming hours and stuff, and looking at her profesionally, she's the "do the minimum" kind of person, contrary to lamy for example, which has a more defined work discipline from experience itself.
TLDR: Ayame likes to focus more on herself, rather than "hololive" which its like a job for her.
