Marine is the reason they split up. It wasn't the sleepover as they had streams after that where they acted normal (like the horse racing one). It wasn't until Pekora had a zatsu collab with Marine a little bit later that things just stopped. During that stream Marine kept asking Pekora about sleeping with Miko and kept making jokes about them being lovers and having sex with each other. This clearly made Pekora uncomfortable and ever since this Zatsu stream PekoMiko has been dead. I can only assume that Pekora cut off all contact with Miko to make sure people didn't get the wrong idea about them. Even before the Zatsu stream it was a running gag of Marine's to call PekoMiko and couple and imply that they are lesbians together. It is my theory that Pekora and Miko are still good friends but they made an agreement with each other to not do much on stream together since people were getting the wrong idea and it was making their long time friendship weird.

tldr. It's all Marine's fault so you can blame that loud mouth slag.

It wasn't just Marine. PekoMikofags were the same way. They once forced Miko to "confess" to Pekora despite her not wanting to do that at all and reiterated, for the umpteenth time, that she and Pekora aren't like that. She was literally begging them to be let off the hook because it made her uncomfortable but they kept pushing her until she did it. Then when she had finally done it they then forced her to "confess" yet again because she "didn't put enough emotion into it".
I honestly don't blame them. It's a miracle they didn't come to that kind of agreement earlier really.

I wouldn't call it peak but it was great. Basically a guarantee you were gonna get a fantastic stream every time because they were that good together. Never cared about them as a "pairing" though.
