On one hand JP vtubers on Twitch have been making new highs repeatedly. With the KR chuubas gone soon they'll dominate there.

All in all, I would say that 4/6 are still streaming to this day, with Yogiri disappearing completely and Artia chilling behind the scene. Space Echo is the most successful one without a close second.

I think it was just general shorts views growth across the board. Or some kind of counting mistake. Like Uto is in that graph too and she didn't actually get 13M views. Vstats are a bit dodgy sometimes.

but for Aogiri ch they were already performing close to the top in normal months, so it was reasonable that the vertical stream stuff might have funneled some more viewers to their shorts.

Not really because we don't really know whether Yogiri and Echo/Taffy is really Taiwanese. Yogiri does sound a little bit like Taiwanese but people from the Fujian Province also sound like that. Echo/Taffy masks her voice too much so I can't really discern her accent. So far none of the info that I found can 100% confirm whether they are Taiwanese or not.

Why not both? Current China seems to be acceptance of Taiwan as a separate political entity and the general population are not as rabid as few years ago, so it is safe for most companies to double dip now.
