Holostars' EN gen release schedule is super bizzare as a passerby looking in. It's like they were actually doing the ACCERLATE OVERSEAS EXPANSION thing for once. Were they essentially trying to play catch-up with the EN girls? Or desperately trying to cement their hold in a space where males theoretically preform better, when they already came in a few years too late? I don't really follow the logic.
What's even stranger: it's common protocol for Holo to make an announcement for new auditions either a little before/after a new gen debuts. To my knowledge, they haven't called for the Stars since a little after the second gen's debut, nothing prior/after the third gen yet. Have they just????? given up on the branch or something? I don't watch any of em but the situation is so fascinating to watch, like watching a car crash in slow motion.
