exactly this. a donation is money given charitably with no expectation of return. you're not hiring them as a VA to voice your script. you're not paying them for a service. they don't owe you anything for your money. the button says "Super Chat: Make your message stand out" and the only service you pay for is your livechat message to be funny coloured and pinned to the top for a certain amount of time. you pay for the youtube UI look only. people need to get over thinking they can force their name or message to be read by paying a streamer, that's not what the function is there for, even if its a common social expectation.
