Then you also have to keep in mind that animals cannot grow up to consent like children can. Nurseries sure as hell wouldn't be able to exist if the children just stayed there their whole life, they would quickly overflow.
You simply can't treat animals like humans, it doesn't work.
We have total control over animals, and unlike children they won't replace us in the future.
Caring about animal life is one thing, but concerning yourself with their consent is nonsense because they don't have a concept like that on a species level.
A chicken doesn't need to consent to you taking their unfertilized eggs because it can't, because it doesn't know what that means, because it doesn't have a concept of ownership, and because it wouldn't need to anyway, to the chicken this is a waste product.
So please stop making these human equivalencies, they don't make sense, animals aren't like humans
