The reason only 1 member per gen is graduating is not a coincidence, it's a grand scheme administrated by Yagoo and Cover higherups themselves in total secrecy.
They know for sure that fewer quantity means better quality, thus they have to sacrifice at least one member of importance for an equivalent exchange to come into the company. It's not talent for talent but relevancy for greater quality. Everything traces down to Aloe, they don't want to ever repeat that fuck up so they took action, each members who left were for a reason, Coco was attracting to much attention from western audience, they had to cut her off, Rushia was monopolizing GFE superchats, they needed her departure for future Advent members, the homos kickstarted the acceleration of ReGloss and it will Mel will be the same as she is one of the least popular Holo, I doubt a new generation, I feel more like tha addition of a standalone member like Irys. Hololive has a limited number of slots, that's why some must die to allow new faces, I wish it wasnt the case but it unfortunately is. Think about it, could have been anyone else than Mel, but Mel is actually the most and least important member to leave at the same time, she's OG but not Matsuri or haachama tier of popularity, thus it balances out, Coco and Rushia were top Holos but Sana and homos were no name part timers.
Next up is definitely not Roboco, too unknown for the masses, either it's Suisei to pursue solo career or straight up Sora for a full on Kizuna Ai graduation stream.
