As an Aki watched I can tell you exactly why

She has the tools to be at least at 1 mil but, shes a bit too little too late. Which hey its fine, we know they arent all gonna have 1 million. I think if she was given just a bit of a push from another big wave she'd be at 1 mil instantly. Sadly the Aki of now is not what people saw in 2020

EOP boom gave everyone a rise in subs but it was only enough to push a handful of holos into the million club. Nobody from the earlier gens outside of FBK will probably hit that milestone honestly.

It probably does to some degree, but Fubuki doesn't either and is in the 1 mil club and has countless EOPs at her feet, so I don't think it's enough to justify.

Some anon in the numbers thread figured out her SEO is messed up because her name is not written the same way in Japanese as it is in any language that uses Latin script and the search algorithm doesn't resolve for such translation difference so it always fails to bring up her channel as the top result unless you start using specific search terms to find her. Essentially, she has to basically change the name of her channel to something like "Aki Rose Ch. アキロゼ" so that the search algorithm resolves for this inconsistency in her channel name.
