But from my impression the whole talk "clique" stuff originally started because some (a lot?) of NijiEN's hires after the first gen had previous connections to Elira, so she got memed into some kind of powerful shadow puppetmaster nepo queen.
That died down over time, presumably because she doesn't actually involve herself in all the drama and seems just chill (or who knows, maybe she's just reeeally good at pretending in public...), and mostly because there were juicier troublemakers to focus on and obvious groups forming.
Right now the "clique" seems to be Enna/Kyo's at the center and whoever they're close to, and yeah it's pretty funny how it seems if you're "in" the clique you can get away with murder, while talents outside the clique are having much more problems, get punished or graduated.
