The market for hysterical adolescent women is a very time sensitive: they will only remain adolescent for about three years or so, from their 16th birthday to their 19th birthday and that's pretty much the extent of their loyalty to anything in that "phase".
Boy bands know that already, so they're really short term endeavors and every smart one in those groups go solo right after and try for a pivot, like
