Cover going IPO has been disastrous for Hololive

No.66984663 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Think about it. Mel's termination when violating the NDA? Holos have said stuff that only insiders should know to their fans all the time, so Mel's termination must mean the information leak was large enough of an issue to affect the IPO, and therein getting Japanese legal autism sicced on her. How can we trust Hololive to protect our girls when they can't even protect their THIRD EVER MEMBER from investors?
It doesn't end there. Remember Holizontal? Completely disastrous for PR, people on both sides infuriated, and ended up instantly canned. Nene's manager asking her to play FPS games, DEV_IS, VCR, focus on Stars, pretty much all done to net a larger, different audience and please investors. They've even reinstated their damn bilibili account, re-exposing them to the most notorious market in vtubing. What did we get out of it? A new building, tightened rules and regulations, and company-wide distress. It just wasn't fucking worth it. Can we convince them to go private again or is it a lost cause? How can we protect our girls when they aren't the main focus anymore?
