Level-5 is retarded, however, and the second they tasted some success, they tried to capitalize on it by just shoveling out Yokai Watch games each year. The audience got burnt out very fast and sales collapsed.
Didn't stop Game Freak from trying to capture that audience with some of the shit they did during Gen 7.
