she just didn't want to be obligated to spend up to 6 weeks+ in Japan a year doing recordings and 3d stuff and that would've been part of her next contract renewal
she did some pretty cool videos for pixiv to help promote them and her art showcase recently and it really does show how much more she cares about that than game streaming and whatnot.
also astrogirl is legitimately good and it would've been nice to see her do it again as she improved at singing.
I dunno' I think it would've stuck out like a sore thumb but I really would've been fine with holo just letting her still occasionally stream games and stay as a 2d streamer if she didn't want to go down the holo road. It was definitely a really weird brand image issue to handle.
