Its not even close to being a serious competitor to fucking Pokemon. 2M sales is paltry compared to what Pokemon brings in, to say nothing of how the vast majority of the IP's profits stem from merch.
Nothing will change. This game will be forgotten in a month's time, and people will buy whatever Pokeshit releases later this year on a scale that dwarfs Palworld in its entirety. The only winning move is to accept this and detach yourself from Pokemon entirely.
