Reason being not all of them publicly show their faces on their other accounts, but they’ll still often use it to do the stuff a “real” rm account would do (vent, often about stuff going on in the corpo).
A lot of people can’t be bothered to keep up the difference, and frankly many nijifans probably do it only because they don’t mind doxxing and want to see real faces instead of some indie vtuber avatar. Just use “roommate” to mean “the vtuber, but not their public account” and you’re fine.
