Just keep a word or notepad with your formats so you can easily copy paste them in. So do what you did before with your vocab but once you're "done" create a filtered deck and copy paste the format to show english then japanese to practice writing.
Also uncheck this shit so that your failures don't fuck you over when you miss them. this way the decks won't affect the other. And you just rebuild it each day when you finish your normal studying.
Anki is retarded and won't let you keep multiple decks of the same cards, I've tried, so you just do this rebuild filtered deck and browse - change field formats each day
