With all the success they had it'd be incredibly stupid to abandon the game for something new. Not only they'd miss out on the monetization potential, but they'd also lose the trust from all their new customers for their next game.

Which I'm assuming they more than recouped with all the copies they sold. I'm not familiar with the devs so I can't say what they'll do, but abandoning this game would be orders of magnitude more stupid than abandoning Craftopia.
