>>67348500>The fact they’ve been in the idol industry for over a decade? An industry quite literally built on, and propped up by white lies
>Them reading out random greyname comments?Increases engagement and is something any good streamer does
>Their consistent schedule? Is something that should be expected, not praised.
>Their random tweets encouraging the ruffians?Again, can be construed as pandering to your audience and playing into GFE.
>The appreciation they show for the ruffians every stream? Can't really give a point to this as this whole comment addresses it, saying more would be recursive.
>The fact they were genuinely upset when they were graduated from their PL vtubing? It's only natural to be sad during a sad event. The question here is whether they're crocodile tears.
This is now the part where you call me some derogatory term or something and be completely dismissive of the full reply.
Okay cool, with that out of the way, do you see now how anything an entertainer does that is directed towards their fanbase can be, in reality, just for show? I personally don't believe that FWMC hate the Ruffians or something weird, but I also do not subscribe to GFE or putting streamers up on some sort of pedestal. So yes, I would (and do) look at the tweet in the OP and think that it's all an act, at least in part. However, I also think that that's okay, because we're all chasing that bag at the end of the day. I'm all for playing along with the act too, but I'm not going to pretend a streamer loves me, or that and of this directed affection is truly real.
For the record: no, FWMC are not my oshis, though I am a day 1 Ruffian and haven't missed a stream.
