>>67491447>No. If I fuck up at work, it's on meYou don't work at a job that has intentionally nebulous rules made to protect content and IP rights
It's not a mistake on the talents they they misunderstand something, a personal manager should have been there 24/7 with them during PR crisis situations, this is common in the western entertainment industry
>Holo's talent retention has shown that they have some of the best management in the industryWhat industry? Virtual idols? Because if you are talking about entertainment as a whole, contracts in the entertainment industry are not nearly as predatory and destructive to the post-contract work of the talents, Hololive talents are forced to stay with the company because they do not retain ANY IP ownership over a character they represented, this has no bearing on management being competent, this is completely on what they lose if they drop their contract
>I highly doubt they would knowingly let something like this happenCoco's situation is exactly proof to the contrary.
1. Coco's manager reviewed asacoco before it aired, she knew about the taiwan slide, this was after Haachama got heat for it, which was why Coco wanted to cover it
2. After the fallout, Cover had no plan or statement to HoloCN talents, management, it's fans, it's brand partners, they just waited it out, even the Japanese government spoke up more about the China situation than Covercorp did
3. When the harassment campaign came in, Yagoo invested in NO TECH to combat spam in livechats, despite it being something that many other security companies sell as a service
4. Coco ended up leaving because Covercorp failed in over a year to create a good environment for Coco to continue her livestreaming normally, a fucking year, even the chinese spammers got banned on their own forums before Covercorp figured out how to deal with it, and they obviously still haven't
There's a reason why you can't find any info online about Ironmouses sordid past but every covercorp talent has dozens of pages of top search result hate and dox pages against them
Covercorp has routinely been a lazy, priority misaligned company, and go fuck yourself for gaslighting yourself into thinking otherwise, it's a company that is nothing without the talents and yet they are treated like scum, Nijisanji isn't any better and in a lot of ways are worse, but we really shouldn't be using any of these vtuber companies as a bastion of good leadership, vshojo wouldn't have had their major talents abandon ship if this was the case, none of them are clean
