Is it better to cut off the limb now to try and save the cultivation you've been doing for the rest of the body, or hope that your body can get even stronger to make cutting the bad limb off easier down the line? But if you take too long, who's to say the infection won't take a deeper root inside you?
They're in a tricky spot and I think they're just kind of hoping she quits at this point. Since she's already actively avoiding interacting with people in the company, it may work, but it's a bet.
