The way they beg for affection from viewers strikes me as annoying. They don't really understand idol culture. An oshi is supposed to be reasonably detached from their viewers, they are the superior in the relationship. The viewers are supposed to yearn hopelessly and love them unconditionally, like a crowd of faceless worshippers at the foot of a heavenly angel. You get the impression from Fuwamoco that they don't really respect themselves and are trying to compensate for it by being overly friendly.
