when you think about it it makes sense that they're complicit, it's just not worth hurting your own reputation (or even producing actual consequences) to stick your neck out for someone who already feels like is at 99% odds of leaving anyway. if that's literally 100% confirmed for the talents that she's leaving then they don't need to say anything and we'll all know soon enough. if it's already a done deal what is addressing it in public gonna do, reverse it? nah. it's too late.
even though in an ideal world I'd want a lot more transparency on this, welp, we don't have it but I can see why that is.
