the problem that hololive EN and hololive in general will face is the need to have the best talents, cause this are the problems in comparison with nijiEN:
- in hololive EN, the talents are good but the chemistry between them is not as good, everyone is way better in their own, anyone can tell, the only kinda decent pairing is ame gura, calli kiara is forced AF and ina is too calm to create a good atmosphere with any of the other 4, in this im referring to funny and exciting moments with her is mostly calm streams.
- this being the reason why gamers worked well for hololive cause korone and okayu already knew each other and can make collabs withouth akwardness (sorry if i cant go deeper on mio or fubuki cause i dont really watch them a lot)
- this problem happens in a lot of works in the society, be movies, tv shows, sports or normal places of work, if you hire only the best people, yeah you will get the best results but the atmosphere between them may not be as good/friendly.
- Now nijiEN so far from doxxing reps elira and pomu already knew each other, finana i think was making collabs with some vtubers b4 debut (idk if she made it with pomu or elira) the thing is even tho their numbers may not be hololive tier, their collabs with each other feel more natural and entertaining, the same is happening now with the 2nd wave, rose being in that indie vtubing comunity group with pomu and elira, selen may not be so related but she already has a place and seems really open with the others, the only concern rn is petra who is kinda new to the way EN does things.
- Finally, holoEN has waaay more pressure and eyes on them, we can clearly see it from the way management restricts them, the only one that seems that can have some freedom is ame. This doesnt happen with nijiEN cause of their low subs, maybe at the start they had a lot of pressure but now management seems to just let them do and behave however they want obviously withouth doing something overly stupid, everyone has freedom, may not earn as much money but at least are happier.
- The point is hololive needs to understand that talent isnt really everything, they need to hire people who are already friends with each other or are not socially akward in exchange of being either a godlike artist or singer
