>>6811513I'm not, but you only really have so much time to build up a first impression, and while some debuts are trashfires that the girls move completely away from
Ame, in HoloEN, you got a pretty good feel for what Mori, Kiara, Ina, and Gura might be like, even if they've evolved some. Given that she was nervous, but not out of her skin levels of it, her debut stream should be fairly indicative of what she's like as a baseline, and what I was thinking that she's fairly safe and inoffensive.
That's not a terribly bad thing, given that people enjoy Sora, AZKi, and Ina to name a few, but she also didn't leave much of an impression. Her tangents about her likes and dislikes weren't overly interesting, even if we did get Santa posting out of it. There are only so many hours in the day for someone to consume content, and if I don't think I'm engaged by your shit, I would be pretty dumb to keep going back to it in the hopes that I suddenly find it more interesting. Add to that she decided to play OHC and Apex, answer some fairly safe marshmellows from when I checked into that stream, and then do a SC reading for her debut week, and there's nothing there that would draw me back into checking her out again after my initial impression. I might watch her play Doom this week since that interests me, but she had a pretty weak debut week content wise, even if she streamed far more then people were expecting from the vsinger.
I should also add that her debut album, even if it wasn't self made like Mori's, also was pretty generic and didn't show any unique personality or have tracks with a deeper meaning like Live Again that give a glimpse at her having some unexpected depth
unless the Japanese lyrics that I can't fucking understand have them :^), which doubles down on the whole safe and inoffensive thing which is just a positive way of saying 'boring'.
