I like cycling through several streamers, so I might watch someone one day and then another other day (even if the one I watched yesterday is streaming). By being in a corpo they have a certain synergy between them that sort-of gives them the same feel, while keeping their personality distinct.

Phase Connect is probably the most entertaining of the non-big 3. It's popular enough but not too popular like Hololive and their roster is full of autistic girls. And, while there are some sex jokes, they aren't on the same level of coomer that Idol is. If you're apprehensive about Pippa then you just don't have to watch her. She doesn't collab super often anyways.

You might like the phase invaders Ember, Dizzy, & Muyu (& Saya from gen 3). They've all got a long history and established chemistry together as the ex-tsunderians, and are all very much their own, distinct chuubas that have been streaming regularly. Plus, you don't have to go to /pcg/. All of them are in /tsunx/ and all but saya are in /pcgia/.

Point 2:
Big company girls make lots of money. It's easy to perform when it's your meal ticket. Smaller companies have a lot of part timers (who still stream more than some so-called full time talents). Those part timers don't make enough from the gig to sustain them and might just get more money if they stopped streaming and waited tables. They continue to grind because they obviously want to give their fans their all. They deserve your support so much more.

Point 3:
You're much more likely to find your niche, as opposed to someone trying to gather a critical mass of simps to not have to work an honest job. As for which small company, that's up to you. I've said enough to make sisters seethe so I'm done.

Idol is wonderful, don't let the psychos here tell you otherwise "Lul jews lul" "omg all drug whores lol" One talent and manager had an inappropriate relationship and were instantly fired. With that said, they have an amazing group of girls that cover everything you could possibly want, and have lots of fun collabs with a great sense of camaraderie. Fuyo is a delightful gremblin, Juna is sexo, Rin is the ironic doomer, Roca has world class singing, Coni is hilarious, Yuko is a yab machine but she's cute and funny. On and on. I highly recommend them, my second favorite corpo behind Hololive.

IdolEN tight knit enough that you can keep a good continuity and there are enough girls that stream regularly to cycle through them. Besides the one obvious example not very drama heavy. Also most of the fanbase came in with Endless so they are all pretty new.
