People who kill themselves don’t do so for attention. If you succeed, you get no attention because you’re dead and not there to receive it. If you fail, you will be forcibly institutionalized against your will, which is the kind of death sentence no suicidal person wants to receive.
People are driven to suicide when they truly think that there is no other alternative. Suicide doesn’t just creep up on you - it’s something that festers for weeks, months, years, forcing you to be in this constant battle of push and pull against it. So when you finally become too overwhelmed from being in an endless cycle of fighting that by the time you decide to attempt, you’re no longer in a clear, rational state of mind. It’s an inconsolable hell that you have to be lucky to snap out of before you do anything ridiculously stupid because you’re in a delirious state where there is no other viable solution anymore, where the only thing more preferable than suffering every day is not to.
Selen didn’t attempt for attention or because she’s a woman or whatever you retarded faggots want to pretend, because if you admit that she attempted because she felt like her back was against the wall and she had no other choice, you realize an incredibly lonely and horrific truth about yourself in the process. I’ve almost attempted and I’ve had friends attempt. Nobody does it for attention. Nobody wants the fallout that comes after.
