>Newfag here
I'm feeling generous and believing so I'll summarize a few major events. There's plenty of ones I'm skipping over, especially from smaller corpos and Nijisanji's constant talent turnover
>Holocaust
Hololive learns the hard way that streaming permissions are important for corpos, is forced to nuke swaths of early VODs
>Coco and China
Haachama and Coco show off Youtube's analytics on stream, which lists Taiwan as a separate country from China. China freaks out and starts harassing Coco especially. Hololive nukes their China branch in response. Coco later resigns from Hololive for unrelated reasons, but also was just not having a good time from the harassment.
>Rushia
Hololive's Rushia gets a message from a guy during a stream. (Look up Japanese Idol Culture if you don't understand that whole crazyness). Hololive defends Rushia, but Rushia responds with her own crazy instead. Turns out, she's been leaking company info, so Hololive fires her. Turns out even more, Rushia used to be married to the guy from the message, she's an absolutely batshit insane, AND she cheated on him constantly.
>YOU ARE HERE
>Selen and Nijisanji
Nijisanji's incompetent and needlessly vindictive management constantly screws over Selen, and she's getting harassed by other members. She ends up trying to kill herself. Nijisanji's response is to block her from her company accounts, post on them pretending to be her, then firing her more than a month later. Included in this firing is a publicly posted goddamn ESSAY on why they're firing her. This essay is written like they thought they were in the right, but it comes off as outright evil. Lots of stories from other people start pouring out about hoe crappy Nijisanji's business practices are.
