That will make it as bad as pretty much everything modern day "journalists" and academic researchers write about subjects they barely master with as little backing first party evidence as possible.
Start smaller. Write a fact based piece on the founding and history of each of the companies and build from that in a subsequent article if you manage to land the easier jump
