Once you hit 50 feet, you're more likely to die than live, and it's not like falling onto a tree feels good. A tree would actually probably do more damage since limbs are typically smaller than the human body so all that force would be concentrated onto a smaller point and it also would be unlikely to stop you from falling further. They're made of hard wood, not grass. You'd probably still hit the ground, but get decked by a couple limbs on the way down and scratched by branches.
The only way you can get saved by a tree at that height is if you're wearing something like a parachute and it gets tangled up in it. Or maybe, just maybe, it's a tall tree and you specifically aimed for it. There's no way you fall 50 feet and just get cradled by leaves accidentally or something, that's ludicrous, but intentionally falling 20 feet onto a limb, sure, maybe.
