>>693873I try to get into the fanfics because I really like the potential for lore but a lot of them end up the same and it's not what I'm looking for. I could write my own, but then it would be taking enough ideas from others that it would probably upset some people.
Anyway there was one Takamori idea I did really like and want to see explored
>Mori convincing Kiara to live.Sometime 'earlier' in their existence. Where they're both still learning.
Mori comes to reap Kiara and finds the phoenix looking like a shell of herself; silent, not being happy to see "her wife", there's no talk of "Please, I'm not ready!" No will to fight. Mori asks Kiara if she's finally grown up and accepted the game only has one result.
Kiara snaps and tells Mori "I want to die. For good.", Mori is slightly taken aback and asks why when each life is a chance for something good. Kiara reveals she's had a string of terrible lives of nothing but pain and she hid it from Mori because she didn't want her to worry or feel bad, it dawns on Mori she only does see Kiara at the end of each life so she really doesn't know what the phoenix goes through. That the smiles have been fake. It hurts her to see Kiara, someone usually so annoyingly full of life, look defeated.
Mori promises Kiara the next life will be a good one (and does what she can to make sure of it, even if it might sometimes go outside of the rules) At the end of that life, Kiara is smiling and says she knows Mori was there for her, the two of them share a nice moment as Kiara is sent onto the next.
