>>6866712NTA, I think the movement's intention is pure to say the least. Spread trans awareness, Treat trans as you would to a cis. Equality. Postive buzzwords. Like any civil rights movement. And like a lot of civil rights movement, there's a subset of people that abuse the movement to carry out their own agenda. For the trans right case, a subsection of trans would boldly teach kids that they can be any gender they want and that anyone that tells them otherwise should be shunned and heckled off.
Now, kids are pretty stupid so they are likely to follow whatever sexual bullshit these certain people are teaching them, instead of these kids finding out by themselves when they're much older whether they want to be one of the two main gender parties or any of the obscure independent gender parties. And when those specific trans people get caught doing this shit, they played the victims making the accusers looked like the bigots in the public's eyes that are blind to what actually was happening.
This of course amplifies the hate for trans people even though the majority of trans people had no part in this fucked up practice. Well, at least that's one perspective as to why some people hate the trans rights movement.
