Threadly reminder that NotSelen's numbers being big right now is a good thing.
She's a shit talent so her number will diminish after 1-2 months at the latest, but 1) her good performance right after exit is bound to destabilise niji further in the short term, which coupled with how negative peoples opinion of nijien is right now might lead to further graduations or terminations, or even potentially a total collapse; 2) even after her decline into a 5k chuuba (in the medium term) those are still better numbers than most of nijien, thus proving to them, that going indie might be a viable option (due to their cuts being significantly better), while at the same time not being appetising to hololive streamers (even if you discount the much larger opportunities they get from being in hololive, NotSelen got pretty much the best possible and cleanest cut away from niji and she still won't incline, with hololive cuts being significantly better, there's really no need to risk that chance of fucking it up); 3) >We (yes we) get a free bludgeoning weapon against niji. Don't let the falseflaggers get to you, NotSelen is not competition against hololive. The sort of content she offers is unrelated to what holoens offer, and long term her numbers will only be competitive against the runts of holoen anyway, and at the same time highly competitive, if not overwhelming, to the "biggest" that nijien has to offer while much closer in content to what they provide.
Note: This doesn't mean that >we should promote her, she's still ex-niji trash that would be better off not existing, but even trash does have its uses, and because she, by herself, is much less of a "threat" to the status quo of hololive than nijien if i have to pick a side between her and niji, I'd pick hers
