>>68840076NijiJP didn't DO anything for EOP mindshare.
HoloJP had -
> Miko nigga> Miko GTA in general> Fubuki singing EN meme songs as short videos> Korone playing western games like Doom > Korone English only challenge stream which spawned a bunch of clips and animations> Eekum Bokum> Asacoco and the weekly meme review with a JP member> Miko Coco EN collab> JP - EN telephone game collab> Holotalk with JP members> Mori's song collabs with SuiseiEN in general have had a bunch of group collabs with JP e.g. like Ina going on a summerfes date with Lamy & Nene, Miko lusting after Ame, all the JPs interacting with Gura, Gura-Shion-Okayu collab cover songs and streams, Lui's EN collabs, Bae & Kiara's official channel updates, Kronii's minecraft interactions, Bae's snacks/vegemite collabs etc.
Summerfes and Sportsfes were two regular streams that had a BUNCH of group interaction among everyone across all branches. Niji had like ONE summer festival in 2020, and I think they completely stopped afterwards.
Meanwhile, Nijisanji's JP-EN collabs just ended up with two JP livers publicly having public beef with each other over a fucking joke (pic related).
Their collabs also always had that air of "we're just copying holos" tinge to it.
All of the collabs would be game related, and they'd never really just sit down and talk to each other like in Holotalk or putting the spotlight on the JP girl's reactions to memes in Meme review.
In NijiJP on the other hand, there'd be phases to this.
Kanae interacted with Lazulight in Minecraft but never really did much on stream stuff with anyone else other than over twitter. He always felt closer to JP e-celebs than his EN kouhai.
Oliver did a bunch of EN collabs, but then stopped.
And then it was Nagao. And then Mito in minecraft.
And then after the AR Live cancellation, it completely stopped - barring Meloco and Kotoka.
There was never any sense of cohesiveness, or what felt like "interest" in each other.
Gura and Okayu talked a bunch off-stream about baseball and other stuff.
Gura and Shion send each other memes on discord and talk about all the funny stuff they talk about on stream. Always from both sides btw.
Even Shiori talked about how the JP girls welcomed her and her DMs with Haachama.
Meanwhile there's not that many JP livers that talk about EN girls on stream. It's always only when they meet each other offline or after collabs - they never really talk outside of streams.
And that just adds to that "impersonal" feel you get from NijiJP - NijiEN collabs.
It's all just business to both sides, none of them actually CARE.
The audience can obviously smell this type of shit from a mile away, which is why I think JP kept retaining their EN mindshare even after the pandemic ended and HoloEN came out - while with NijiJP, after Gibara and Lulu left and NijiEN came out, there were fuck all people watching or caring about NijiEN.
